Quotes

"Our Government is proud to support organizations that contribute to the vitality of official-language minority communities. It is essential for all Canadians to be able to live in the official language of their choice. This helps make Canada a strong and united country."

-The Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages

"Many organizations play a crucial role in the development of Ontario's Francophone communities. In supporting the Phénix, we are working to ensure that official-language minority communities can thrive and participate fully in Canadian society."

-Pierre Lemieux, Member of Parliament, Glengarry-Prescott-Russell

"We really appreciate federal government funding for this project, as it allows our members to share their experiences as Francophones living with disabilities. This will help raise awareness in our communities and allow people with disabilities to take part in cultural and artistic activities as creators-an experience they would otherwise not have had."
