Customers Rank FormFactor as World's Best Supplier of Subsystems for Second Consecutive Year in VLSIresearch's Annual Customer Satisfaction Survey

LIVERMORE, CA--(Marketwired - May 22, 2015) - FormFactor, Inc. (NASDAQ: FORM) today announced that for the second year in a row, it is the world's RANKED 1st supplier in the 2015 THE BEST Suppliers of Subsystems. Subsystems -- which includes semiconductor probe cards -- is one of 16 market segments covered by the VLSIresearch Customer Satisfaction Survey.

The RANKED 1st Supplier distinction is the latest accolade for FormFactor. Last month, the company was named the world's top supplier of semiconductor probe cards by VLSIresearch in its 2014 survey of probe card vendors.

"It is an honor for FormFactor to be ranked so highly again this year by valued customers," said Mike Slessor, FormFactor's CEO. "Our customers are pushing technology barriers in semiconductor design and manufacturing and this requires us to maintain a focus on innovation. We are committed to collaborating closely with each of our customers to help them reduce test costs and enable technology roadmaps. When our dedicated efforts are rewarded by high customer satisfaction ratings, it is a special thrill for our team."

FormFactor's highest rating was earned in "Support After Sales", which the company attributes to its comprehensive localization strategy to be close to customers. Today, the company's global infrastructure includes 16 service centers, 7 international sales offices and 4 international design centers. Service centers in Korea and Europe were recently expanded with state-of-the-art equipment, increasing the company's local service capabilities and reducing repair turn-around time.

FormFactor also received recognition for "Commitment" and "Partnering". With close customer collaborations being a strategic imperative, FormFactor's commitment is reflected in continuous R&D to support customers with test expertise and advanced probe technology from early design to final test. This includes MEMS probe technology where the company is enabling "More-than-Moore" advanced packaging techniques like Cu pillar and 2.5D/3D stacking. In 2014, FormFactor shipped probe cards that, in total, included more than 25 million MEMS probes to support customers worldwide in this advanced arena.

G. Dan Hutcheson, CEO of VLSIresearch, linked FormFactor's repeated superior ratings to its success in helping customers achieve aggressive roadmap milestones in stating "This year's ranking shows that FormFactor continues to strike the right balance of delivering advanced high-performing probe card solutions and providing excellent technical service and support."
