Member of Parliament Maurice Vellacott announces funding for 16 organizations


SASKATOON, SASKATCHEWAN--(Marketwired - May 25, 2015) - Department of Canadian Heritage

The Government of Canada is providing $29,450 in funding to 16 organizations through the Celebrate Canada Program for National Aboriginal Day, Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day, Canadian Multiculturalism Day and Canada Day celebrations. A list of the organizations receiving support and a breakdown of the funding is available in the backgrounder.

Maurice Vellacott, Member of Parliament (Saskatoon-Wanuskewin), made the announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
