Library and Archives Canada and the TD Summer Reading Club Announce 2014 Library Award Winners


GATINEAU, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - June 5, 2015) - Library and Archives Canada

Library and Archives Canada (LAC) along with the Toronto Public Library and TD Bank Group are pleased to announce the winners of the TD Summer Reading Club Library Awards for 2014. Since 2007, the Awards have recognized and rewarded the most innovative and effective TD Summer Reading Club programs in local public libraries across Canada.

The first prize winners for their 2014 programs are:

  • Musquodoboit Valley Library Services (Musquodoboit Valley, Nova Scotia) in the English category.
  • Médiathèque maskoutaine (Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec) in the French category.

The second and third prizes for the English category go to Richmond Green Public Library (Richmond Hill, Ontario) and Red Deer Public Library (Red Deer, Alberta). For the French category, the second and third prizes are awarded to Bibliothèque de Beaconsfield (Beaconsfield, Quebec) and to Bibliothèque municipale de Notre-Dame-de-la-Salette (Notre-Dame-de-la-Salette, Quebec).
