GSX Solutions Launches New Online IT Performance Health Check

New GSX Service Health Check Measures IT Check-Ups for Messaging and Collaboration Platforms to Optimize Quality of Service

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - Jun 11, 2015) -  GSX Solutions [www.gsx.com] -- the global leader in proactive, consolidated monitoring and reporting of enterprise collaboration environments, including Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Microsoft SharePoint, BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES), and IBM Notes -- today announced the launch of a new IT performance-service health-check package as part of its overall GSX Monitor & Analyzer solution. It gives enterprises an in-depth understanding of IT performance levels across their respective infrastructures. To grade the Quality of Service (QoS) of your messaging applications and enter for a chance to win a Nokia Lumia, enter the QoS test now at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ZJ5LZ28

A key component of the service health-check is the quality of service (QoS) diagram, which facilitates the grade calculation for any messaging applications, and allows IT administrators to benefit from a copy of the assessment, along with recommendations for optimal performance over time.

The QoS diagnostic is conducted and based on five components, which gather a total of 50 key statistics to grade messaging applications:

- End-user experience: mail routing, URL response time, end-to-end scenarios, etc.
- System performance: disk latency, network availability, etc.
- Application performance: protocols response time, unplanned failovers, etc.
- Resource optimization: load balancing, user connection, etc.
- Storage optimization: top consumers, disk usage per DB, disk, server, etc.

"Our goal is to provide an effective analysis of the capacity and performance of distributed environments, thus giving users detailed recommendations to be performed not only from the server level but from the end-user level, as well," said Jean-Francois Piot, product manager of GSX Solutions. "The GSX performance package, reflecting health checks for messaging and collaboration platforms, is a truly valuable service for enterprises."

The performance service health-check assesses the QoS of messaging and collaborative environments by identifying areas for performance, availability, reliability and efficiency. They identify bottlenecks and recommend effective setups and configurations, and establish baselines for future performance analyses.
