SELKIRK, MANITOBA--(Marketwired - June 15, 2015) - Department of Canadian Heritage
The Government of Canada is providing total funding of $43,967 to 19 organizations through the Celebrate Canada program for National Aboriginal Day, Canadian Multiculturalism Day and Canada Day celebrations. A list of the organizations receiving support and a breakdown of the funding is available in the backgrounder.
James Bezan, Member of Parliament (Selkirk-Interlake), made the announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

- The Department of Canadian Heritage provides funding for activities organized on specific days during the Celebrate Canada period from June 21 to July 1.
- The Celebrate Canada period includes National Aboriginal Day on June 21, Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day on June 24, Canadian Multiculturalism Day on June 27, and Canada Day on July 1.
