The Glow - Ramadan Lounge
The Glow - Ramadan Lounge will mesmerize guests with a thirteen meter high, dome-shaped pavilion, complimented by large see-through verandas contemplating the night's sky. The Bahrain event venue boasts a large dining area with oversized seats welcoming up to 200 loungers from sunset to sunrise. This oasis has been created solely for the Holy month of Ramadan. Yet, the focal point of The Glow, is an avant-garde car display, rotating on a daily basis and showcasing the world's most leading edge engines. The epicurean odyssey is exhilarated by the 40 square meter foodie-verse where seasonal-inspired favorites of kushari (combination of vegetables), ouzi, shawarma, lekemet (dough balls fried and dipped in date syrup and powder sugar) and kham (soft dough balls flavored with honey), blend in with the culinary most exuberant creations such as the Arabic sushi line, and the Halwa or dried fruits flavored macaroon collection. Al Khayma
Enter the realm of Ramadan as you step into a maze of lights, scents and colors inside Al Khayma. The most renowned Ramadan tent will surprise guests with its décor inspired by the oriental souk of Fez. An alley of hanging lanterns guides guests into the warm interiors of Al Khayma. Inside, long turquoise and gold drapes, crystal chandeliers and hanging light spheres, an imaginative fanoosh wooden cage, and a soothing tree of lights adorn the tent and set the stage onto an alluring culinary line up. Large buffet spreads of tajines, masbooj, saffron rice, falafel rolls, and five varieties of dates (amongst which khedri, khloas, segai, sokari and bahri), are complimented by live cooking stations of saj bread, shanaad or sheeri Bahraini grills, fresh pasta, pad thai noodles, tandoori meats, or fresh fruit carving -- amongst the many more delicacies. The culinary line up resembles a series of street food and spices stalls, inviting celebrants through an awakening sensory experience, where the pleasure of breaking the fast marries the joy of sharing lasting memories with family and dear ones.
