TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - June 17, 2015) - Mitchell Cohen, President and Chief Executive Officer of Urbanfund Corp. (TSX VENTURE:UFC) (the "Company"), is pleased to announce that, subject to approval of the TSX Venture Exchange, Mr. Robert A. Barber was elected, effective immediately, as a director of the Company at the Company's annual and special meeting of shareholders held on June 16, 2015.

Mr. Barber is a Managing Partner of Den Bosch + Finchley, an architecture and construction firm established in 1986. With 30 years of experience in the design, management and successful completion of leading-edge custom projects, Mr. Barber is instrumental in ensuring continued growth and building a strong reputation for the company. Mr. Barber has demonstrated a strong commitment to the Ride to Conquer Cancer as well as other significant charitable foundations.
