NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - June 17, 2015) - B&H Photo would like to share the announcement of the Ricoh GR II Digital Camera, the first Wi-Fi and NFC-enabled update for the very well-received GR-series. Using a 16-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor with no optical low-pass filter and the GR ENGINE V, photographers will be able to create images with low noise, accurate colors, and excellent sharpness at sensitivities up to ISO 25600. The camera’s body is also very slim and compact for portability and comfort.
Photographers will benefit from the High-Speed AF system that will lock on in as fast as 0.2 seconds. The camera itself will start up in just one second, as well, and it offers continuous shooting at a rate of 4 fps. The body design complements these features with physical controls, such as a dedicated AF button and an aperture preview button. The camera will also be able to save stills in either the DNG RAW format or JPEGs.

Video recording is possible in full HD 1080p at up to 30 fps with H.264 compression. The AF system will remain active during shooting for ensuring your subjects are sharp throughout the video. Additionally, it adds a wireless flash function for communicating with the AF360FGZII and AF540FGZII external flashes using the built-in pop-up flash.
