Celebrate Your Inner Francophone at Saint-Jean Baptiste Day at Canada Place

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - June 17, 2015) - Francophone culture and heritage will fill the front plaza at Canada Place on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 in celebration of Saint-Jean Baptiste Day. Families and guests of all ages will be able to engage in the stories and traditions of Francophone culture in North America through live musical performances and other entertainment. The line-up includes music by Alouest and the Jocelyn Pettit Band, traditional Métis and contemporary dance by Compaigni V'ni Dansi, and roaming performances by Frenchie the Clown and Gretta & Kiki. It all takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. June 24 at Canada Place.

Saint-Jean Baptiste Day at Canada Place is presented by Port Metro Vancouver, in partnership with Société francophone de Maillardville, and with supporting media partners 24 hrs, CTV and 103.5 QM/FM.
