BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - Jun 18, 2015) - Brand Networks, the leading provider of relevance-driven social marketing and advertising software, today announced it has been selected as one of the first Ads API Partners as part of Pinterest's Marketing Developer Partners (MDP) program. As a member of the MDP program, Brand Networks will help brands scale their Pinterest marketing initiatives and optimize advertising campaigns on the sharing and discovery platform. This partnership allows Brand Networks to continue helping brands increase ROI and effectiveness at every stage of the digital marketing process across all paid, earned, and owned channels.

"Pinterest provides brands with a unique ability to tailor hyper-personalized content and ads to the specific interests and potential future intent of each user," said James Borow, Chief Product Officer, Brand Networks. "Pinners already post and share the things that resonate and interest them the most. Developing on Pinterest's Ads API enables us to connect those users with brands that can bring those projects and ideas to life. Pinterest is an aspirational platform for consumers, so we have an opportunity and responsibility to leverage our technology to ensure our customers deliver the most relevant content to Pinners at the right time and on the right device."

As a Pinterest Ads API Partner, Brand Networks will expand its functionality to help businesses use Promoted Pins at scale and better achieve their marketing and advertising goals on Pinterest. Brand Networks' Pinterest offering will help marketers build and scale campaigns using tools such as advanced pin creation and management, permutations building, and real time reporting dashboards.

Pinterest launched the MDP Program in April of this year to help businesses establish a larger presence on the platform, and improve the user experience by connecting Pinners with the companies and brands they love. Today, the MDP program expands to include Ads API partners, like Brand Networks, who specialize in helping brands and agencies more easily create, schedule and promote and report on the commercial success of sponsored Pins and boards.

This announcement follows several key corporate and product initiatives from Brand Networks. The company recently acquired SHIFT, the award-winning platform for cross-network social advertising and collaboration, in a $50 million deal. Brand Networks also introduced RelevanceRank, a proprietary technology designed to help marketers achieve the highest possible levels of effectiveness and efficiency at every stage of the social marketing process. RelvanceRank functionality will also be extended to Pinterest to boost the impact of both organic and paid content on the platform.

In addition to the company's Ads API partnership with Pinterest, Brand Networks is one of the few companies in the world recognized as a Facebook Marketing Partner, Instagram Ads API Partner, Atlas Partner, LinkedIn Sponsored Updates and Custom Apps partner, and one of the first Twitter Ads API developers. The Brand Networks platform powers over $500 million in social advertising spend for more than 650 of the world's best known brands and agencies, such as Interpublic Group, WPP, American Express, AT&T, ABInBev, Discover, Yahoo! and Unilever.
