eSilicon's Colby Gartin Promoted to Vice President and General Counsel


SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 8, 2015) - eSilicon Corporation, a leading independent semiconductor design and manufacturing solutions provider, today announced the promotion of Colby Gartin to vice president and general counsel. Gartin is responsible for eSilicon's commercial agreements, strategic transactions, IP portfolio, litigation and corporate governance matters. Colby reports to Jack Harding, CEO and president.

Gartin has over 17 years of experience in corporate securities and governance, M&A and strategic transactions, intellectual property matters and commercial transactions. Prior to joining eSilicon, he served as director, corporate counsel at Asyst Technologies, a semiconductor capital equipment company. He started his career at the law firms of Brobeck Phleger & Harrison and O'Melveny & Myers. Gartin received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara and his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University.
