Statement on Behalf of Spectrum Health Care

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - July 17, 2015) - Spectrum Health Care has been made aware that a Spectrum Health Care employee was charged by the Toronto Police on July 17, 2015 with sexual assault of a 95-year old man. As a provider of community services for more than 35 years, Spectrum Health Care is taking this very seriously. We are co-operating fully with the Toronto Police at Division 54 and other regulatory authorities and have launched an internal investigation into the circumstances surrounding this allegation. Patient care and safety is paramount in the delivery of services from Spectrum Health Care. We have nothing further to add at this time.
