OnTrac was excited to initiate conversations with the city of Fremont to discuss OnTrac’s history specific to the Hayward facility and share our mutual goals for community involvement within the city. The BART station expansion, proximity to various restaurant options and access to multiple highways were discussed as benefits to employers and contributing factors for Fremont developing into a major employment center. Overall the goal of the meeting was for both parties to meet face-to-face, begin building a relationship and discuss ways in which to support each other.

Our goal is to make a positive impact on the city of Fremont and building a relationship through our meeting today is a great step in the right direction.”

The Hayward facility’s name is based on its original location in Hayward, CA and moved to the city of Fremont on June 15, 2012. It is the second largest OnTrac sorting facility and operates as a regional hub, which helps to promote proper sorting and reduces double handling packages.
