SG-NDT of Levis Launching International Commercialization of its Products

By supporting new market development, the Government of Canada is stimulating growth and jobs while strengthening the competitiveness of the economy in Chaudiere-Appalaches and elsewhere in Quebec


LÉVIS, QUÉBEC--(Marketwired - July 22, 2015) - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)

Acting on behalf of the Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, the Honourable Steven Blaney, Member of Parliament for Lévis-Bellechasse and Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, announces that the firm SG-NDT has been granted financial assistance to commercialize its products on foreign markets.

This support is being awarded in the form of a $145,000 repayable financial contribution through CED's Quebec Economic Development Program.

Quick facts

  • Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Lévis, SG-NDT specializes in the manufacture of non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment such as custom probes, data analysis software and Eddy Current equipment.
  • The contribution from CED will enable the enterprise to begin commercializing its heat exchanger inspection products for nuclear power plants on foreign markets, notably in France.
  • The funding will serve for the company's participation in trade fairs, acquisition or development of promotional materials and manufacture of prototypes for marketing purposes.
