GRAFTON, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - July 23, 2015) - Department of Canadian Heritage

The Government of Canada is providing $50,000 in funding over two years ($25,000 for 2015-16 and $25,000 for 2016-17) for the 12^th and the 13^th editions of the Shelter Valley Folk Festival. The support is being provided through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund.

Rick Norlock, Member of Parliament (Northumberland-Quinte West), made this announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

• The Shelter Valley Folk Festival is an outdoor festival that features established and emerging Canadian and international artists performing folk, roots and world music for general audiences of all ages.
