Casey Loyd Named Business Development Executive, and Jamie Thomas and Megan Cunningham Are Appointed Business Development Associates

Prior to joining the EmployerDirect team, Jamie Thomas worked for 15 years in benefits consulting and sales. She successfully managed mid-market sales in Texas for Castlight Health, and worked for eight years for a health and welfare consulting firm. Jamie also spent two years in human resources for an exploration and production company. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University and a past president of the Board of Directors for the Houston Compensation and Benefits association. 

Before joining EmployerDirect, Megan Cunningham worked for Arthur J. Gallagher and brings experience in working with private and public healthcare exchanges. With over six years in healthcare consulting, she is licensed for both group and individual health insurance consulting, and has attended and presented at many human resources conferences as a healthcare insurance expert. She graduated from Western Michigan University with a B.S. in physics. 

Prior to EmployerDirect, Casey Loyd worked for Castlight Health, where he focused on direct engagements with large, self-funded plans and built national strategic relationships with large benefits consulting firms. Casey also worked as a health and welfare consultant for the oil and gas industry. He currently serves as the vice president of Houston Compensation and Benefits, an association for compensation and benefits professionals in the Houston area. Casey holds an M.B.A. in finance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas and a B.S. in business and economics from Randolph Macon College in Ashland, Va.
