Government of Canada provides support to Cycling Canada Cyclisme to host the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup
BEAUPRÉ, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - July 29, 2015) - Department of Canadian Heritage
The Honourable Bal Gosal, Minister of State (Sport), today announced $100,000 in funding from the Government of Canada, through Sport Canada's Hosting Program, to Cycling Canada Cyclisme to support the International Cycling Union (UCI) Mountain Bike World Cup. The event is taking place from July 31 to August 2, 2015, at Mont Sainte-Anne, Quebec.
The UCI Mountain Bike World Cup is part of Vélirium, Canada's biggest mountain bike and cycling festival. In addition to the UCI Cross-Country and Downhill World Cups, Vélirium will feature other competitions, including Raid Vélo Mag, Véli-Kidz,Pumptrack EPIC and Duel de la Côte.
