"I am excited to share my experience with Cassandra as a first-time speaker at Cassandra Summit," said Daniel Chia, Software Engineer, Coursera. "But more importantly, I look forward to immersing myself in two full conference days of learning and conversing with other experts in this field with the goal of adding more tools to my bag, both at a strategic and day-to-day level."

"We use Apache Cassandra to support breaking news and other critical functions. Properly designed and operated, no other open-source offering can match its function and scalability across multiple datacenters," said Michael Laing, Systems Architect, The New York Times. "The Apache Cassandra Certification Program recognizes the devops expertise that is needed in the rapidly expanding marketplace -- and certification is a powerful tool for recruitment, retention and recognition."

The three-day event consists of one certification day and two full conference days with more than 120 deep dive technical sessions for developers, administrators and executives. The event will provide attendees with numerous opportunities to learn about the world's greatest Cassandra implementations from community users and DataStax experts, as well as community and networking opportunities. This year's agenda includes:
