Ginger Oil Company is participating in a high risk, high potential oil prospect in Southern Alabama. The industry has been very active in the past several years in this area. The potential size of the prospect is several million barrels of oil and Ginger Oil owns a 5% (WI). The well should be down and evaluated during the first week of August.
The second prospect is scheduled in August and is located in Lafayette County, Arkansas. Ginger owns an interest in ten oil producing wells in that county. This new prospect and the producing wells are the product of a 3-D seismic program that Ginger initiated in 2005. The seismic data continues to present new drilling. Ginger has a 9% WI in this lower risk prospect.
