American Portfolios' New Relationship Management Team, Led by Keith J. Kelly, Launches Redtail University for Firm's Financial Advisors

HOLBROOK, NY--(Marketwired - August 03, 2015) - American Portfolios Financial Services, Inc. (APFS), a privately-held independent broker/dealer that services financial advisors throughout the country, has added a relationship management area to the firm to fulfill one of the goals outlined in their ambitious, long-term growth plan.

One of the first steps on APFS' five-year roadmap includes strategic hires at the executive and senior management levels to strengthen the firm's infrastructure. "In order to move the company to a place of greatness, I need to widen the bench with strong leaders supporting me," said APFS CEO, CIO and President Lon T. Dolber. In the first quarter of 2015, the firm hired Vice President of Relationship Management Keith J. Kelly, who serves under the direction of President of Sales and New Business Development Timothy O'Grady. The relationship management area is of vital importance to customer loyalty, acting "as an added touchpoint to advisors in the field, helping them find solutions to grow and build value in their practices," Dolber attests.

Kelly has supported and coached advisors in financial services and business development for more than 20 years with companies such as LPL, Strategic Financial Alliance, FSI, Mutual of Omaha Investors, Nationwide, Genworth, GE Asset Management and Dreyfus. Of the newly-formed department, Kelly deems it will be crucial in "assessing best practice needs from its affiliated financial advisors and developing a course of action through a series of strategic practice management programs that will satisfy the diversity of business-building requirements in great demand."

To that end, the inaugural event in Kelly's planned practice management programs will focus on the value and specifics of how to utilize a Content Relationship Management (CRM) system to encourage business growth. APFS' Redtail University, a hands-on, educational meeting that will help advisors maximize the CRM tool, will take place on Aug. 4, 2015. Kelly believes that "a business is built on the foundation of a strong operating platform, which is critical to an advisor's long-term success." With an overwhelming response and a fully booked event, APFS plans to repeat Redtail University, as well as offer a series of other valuable practice management events on a regular basis.

Moving forward on its path to greatness, APFS will continue to deliver highly-valued services, programs and products to its affiliated financial advisors and their clientele. The firm looks forward to fulfilling its brand promises and value proposition(s) as a leading industry service provider for independent financial professionals.
