The North 183 location, on Research Boulevard in Austin, Texas, has served Austin area pets since 1985. During that time, the animal hospital has experienced a great deal of growth and expansion. Today, the clinic is getting a well-deserved face-lift as well as new awnings. While the signage for the animal hospital is coming down during this period of change, the staff would like pet owners to know that they are still open 24/7 during the renovation for regular pet appointments as well as animal emergencies that arise.

The north location of the Austin, Texas, veterinary office is getting a stucco makeover along with new colors and updated front and back awnings. The clinic is still open for business during this transitional period and Dr. Scott Johnson hopes that pet owners in the area will stop by to see the improvements for themselves once they are complete.
While work is being conducted, the existing signage will be down. It may take a couple of weeks in the hot Texas sun, but everyone remains hopeful that the work will go quickly and business as usual will soon return for the animal hospital.
"While repairs are taking place – and once they are complete – area pet owners will have access to the same quality of care as before," says Dr. Johnson. "We'll continue to offer in-house laboratory equipment, surgical suites, isolation areas, on-site pharmacies and temperature controlled recovery areas complete with comfortable bedding for pets."
Emergency Animal Hospital of Northwest Austin has grown a lot since its humble beginnings in 1985 when it operated from a single suite of nearly 1,200 square feet. Parking was originally in front but road expansions moved parking to the back of the building. "We've rebuilt once since then, tripling our space at the time," says Dr. Johnson, "and we've remodeled the building's interior twice. The exterior makeover is particularly exciting for us."
