Virgin Radio Street Squad Visits Ironwood This Saturday

RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Aug. 28, 2015) - It's time to get rid of those recyclables clogging up your garage and have some fun at the same time this Saturday (August 29) as the dynamic Virgin Radio Street Squad visits Richmond's Ironwood Return-It from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In addition to underscoring the importance of recycling, the highly popular and energetic street team has an array of fun giveaways including a 4-pack of BC Lions tickets.

The public is invited to drop by and enjoy a barbecue as they drop off their recyclables. Ironwood accepts everything from refundable beverage containers, electronics, packaging and printed paper as well as cell phones, small appliances and power tools.

"This is a great opportunity to visit your neighbourhood depot and learn about our other services including our recycling programs for businesses and local schools," says Grant Kang, Depot Owner.

Ironwood is a premium recycling facility offering a full range of recycling services including pick-up services for business and schools as well as a VIP sorting area for bottle drives. Hours of operation: Mon - Sat 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sun 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
