SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Aug 31, 2015) - Gametime, the leader in mobile on-demand sports ticketing, today announced the nationwide launch of the ticket industry's first rewards program for fans who see their team win at home. Launching today for MLB, the High Five$ program awards $5 in Gametime credits (per ticket purchased) to fans that buy tickets to three or more home wins for any MLB team in September.

High Five$ requires no registration by users, as Gametime will automatically monitor all transactions for every MLB team. A $5 credit will be awarded for every ticket purchased following a home team's third win in September. For example, if a fan buys four tickets per game to three winning games, Gametime will credit $60 (4 x $5 = $20 x 3 = $60) to their Gametime account. Following the initial credits for the qualifying three wins, fans can earn additional High Five$ per ticket for each ensuing win they attend. Accrued credits will be stored in users' Gametime account and may be used to purchase tickets to any of the 300+ sporting events offered by the app.

Gametime piloted the program in the Houston, Pittsburgh and Kansas City markets in August with very positive fan response. The pilot program found that fans in the test markets were 12 percent more likely to purchase than they were prior to launch. For the nationwide campaign, all 30 MLB teams will be eligible for the High Five$ rewards program.

"It's like giving your friend a high five after watching a phenomenal win and imagine that feeling generating an incentive to keep that relationship going and to hit the next game," said Brad Griffith, Founder and CEO of Gametime. "Our goal is to bring fans together for high fives and help fill stadiums night after night. With the High Five$ program, we're giving fans the chance to earn credit to see their favorite teams throughout the fall."

To start earning credit and giving High Five$, Gametime is available for download for iOS in the iTunes Store and for Android on Google Play.
