Media Advisory: Last Chance to Experience Northern Lights on Parliament Hill This Summer

GATINEAU, QUÉBEC--(Marketwired - Aug. 31, 2015) - Canadian Heritage, in collaboration with exclusive sponsor Manulife, wishes to inform the public that the inaugural season of Northern Lights will conclude on September 12, 2015.
This free sound and light show on Parliament Hill is presented every evening, seven days a week (weather permitting); as of September 1, showings will begin at 9 p.m.

SPECIAL PRESENTATION! On Saturday, September 19, come see Northern Lights as part of the Ottawa International Animation Festival and Nuit Blanche Ottawa-Gatineau.

We recommend that spectators bring a chair or blanket to enjoy the view from the lawn.

Northern Lights, an all-new experience of sound and light, is a thrilling thematic journey through Canada's history. Combining bold digital technology with the architectural splendour of the Parliament Buildings, the show illuminates Canadian stories of nation building, partnership, discovery, valour, pride and vision at the heart of our country.
