DiGennaro Communications Announces New Training & Workshop Division: DGC Trainer

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - September 03, 2015) - DiGennaro Communications (DGC) (www.digennaro-usa.com), the independent New York City-based public relations firm, today announced the launch of DGC Trainer, a strategic training and workshop division designed to help executives and companies across industries master the art of Public Relations.

Well-known for its expertise in BtoB communications, in past years DGC has provided media relations and thought leadership counsel and services to clients including Facebook, Pandora, Live Nation, Microsoft, BMW Financial Services, Rue La La, Ringling Brothers/Feld Entertainment, Ogilvy and Group M, among hundreds of others. DGC Trainer will leverage that experience and offer bite-sized and customizable training modules to executives and companies who are short on time or resources, need a refresher course or want to take their PR skills to the next level.

The division's initial offering will include the following sessions:

  • PR 101 Bootcamp: This full-day "Intro to PR" workshop uses hands-on exercises so executives leave with basic tools for crafting winning pitches, conducting outreach that makes reporters respond, navigating interviews and making the most of media coverage.
  • Media Master: Through a specially curated process, this session will media train executives in a half-day, full-day or two-day format. From identifying news hooks to building media relationships to nailing the on-the-record interview, trainers will use role-play scenarios and real-time tips and tricks. Executives will build confidence and learn how to stay on point from start to finish.
  • Presentation Polisher: This half or full-day speaker training workshop will help executives grab the crowd with a powerful opening, organize for memorability, personalize their message and issue a closing call-to-action.
  • Conference Hacker: DGC's team of PR practitioners has extensive experience creating Festival and Conference strategies for companies of all kinds. Participants will walk away with achievable and customized event program that garners additional visibility, nurtures and creates press and influencer relationships and makes the experience more manageable.

Poised to celebrate its tenth anniversary in 2016, DGC was founded by Samantha DiGennaro, a sought-after strategic communications and business counselor to C-level executives. DiGennaro's 25-years of experience -- combined with that of a specialized team of former journalists, strategic communications strategists and publicists -- will power DGC Trainer.

"We are thrilled to expand our offering and launch DGC Trainer," said Samantha DiGennaro, CEO and Founder of DGC. "Executives these days are completely strapped for time and resources, yet still need superior communications skills to stand out from their competitors. This new offering fills that void and will help C-suites from all types and sizes of companies realize the business impact that PR can provide."
