Public Service Announcement: RCAF CF-18 Hornet Flyby Over North York Thursday

WINNIPEG, MANITOBA--(Marketwired - Sept. 9, 2015) - A Royal Canadian Air Force CF-18 Hornet will fly over the Canadian Forces College as part of their Battle of Britain ceremony on Thursday, September 10, around 4:45 p.m.

The aircraft will fly over the College at an altitude no lower than 500 feet above the highest point along its route before resuming a higher flying altitude for its return trip to 4 Wing Cold Lake, Alberta.

Flybys by CF aircraft are conducted in support of special events and are carefully planned and closely controlled to ensure public safety at all times.
