SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 11, 2015) - Investment advisor Reid Abedeen, a partner at Safeguard Investment Advisory Group, LLC (, is holding with his associates informational workshops at Solano Beach this September to help educate audiences in protecting their future finances and assets.

The workshops are free and will be at The Fish Market, 640 Via De La Valle, at 6 p.m. Sept. 15, 6 p.m. Sept. 16 and 11 a.m. Sept. 19. Encouraged to attend are individuals and couples aged 50 and older, who are nearing retirement and want to afford and enjoy their golden years.

"It's important to emphasize a few ideas: that each individual's wealth is quite unique to them, and that it's vital for us to help grow an individual's assets safely. Doing both of these things can be intensive," says Abedeen, winner of this year's Five Star Wealth Manager award for the Los Angeles region.

"As important as our specific, individual-to-individual approach is for how we do things, there are multiple pillars of general knowledge retirees and pre-retirees should grasp firmly while navigating the frequently tricky waters of wealth planning during retirement."

Abedeen says he and his associates at Safeguard Investment Advisory Group share a mission to safely and securely develop their clients' assets through personalized custom-made solutions, based on extensive knowledge and understanding of today's markets.

In addition to safely utilizing the markets, some general areas of insight include infinite banking, trust and estate planning, portfolio management and life insurance.

"When planning your finances for retirement, a financial advisor really needs to do plenty of intellectual analysis upfront if he or she wants to do a truly good job," Abedeen says. "Whether or not professional services are used, retirees are much better off educated."
