New candidates for FLSmidth's Board of Directors

We are pleased to announce that Marius Jacques Kloppers and Rob Smith have accepted to be nominated as new members of the Board of Directors of FLSmidth & Co. A/S at the Annual General Meeting on 5 April 2016.

Marius Jacques Kloppers, age 53 and Australian/South African citizen, is the former CEO of the world's largest mining company, BHP Billiton.

"Marius Kloppers will bring with him a wealth of global business and mining experience from the largest mining company in the world, and we are very pleased that we have the possibility to present him to our shareholders as a candidate for a board position here at FLSmidth," says Chairman of the Board Vagn Sørensen.

Rob Smith, age 50 and German/American citizen, is Senior Vice President and General Manager, EAME of AGCO, a global leader in design, manufacture and distribution of heavy industry solutions. "Rob Smith is an international senior executive with massive experience in manufacturing and sourcing from a multitude of industries and countries, whose outspokenness and competencies would be a great asset to FLSmidth," says Chairman of the Board Vagn Sørensen.

Current member of the Board of Directors, Mr. Martin Ivert, has decided not to stand for re-election at the next Annual General Meeting.
