Results Released for 15th Annual Survey of Casino Executives Conducted by Spectrum Gaming Group & Bristol Associates, Inc.

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 18, 2015) - Spectrum Gaming Group, the world's foremost gaming research and professional services firm, and Bristol Associates, the gaming industry's leading executive search firm, have released the results of their 15th online survey of casino executives to help the gaming industry attract, retain and motivate its executive talent.

The Bristol Associates/Spectrum Gaming Group Casino Executive Survey is the industry's only comprehensive employee-satisfaction survey. This unique survey has continued to expand and has had over 4,000 cumulative responses in just the last six years.

Some notable findings from the report are:

  • The Seminole Tribe has captured first place as the employer of choice, just ahead of last year's favorite, Penn National. The Mohegan Tribe has made notable gains, claiming third place.
  • The importance of job security took prominence as the industry matures and executives are apparently more content in their present positions.
  • Overall optimism for individual career growth has returned to pre-recession levels, reflecting improved market conditions.
  • Las Vegas took the lead as the market with most potential, while the usual favorite, California, came in second.

Gaming industry executives from across the country participated and all individual responses are kept confidential. Spectrum Gaming Group has analyzed the results and published them in a white paper available to subscribers of its Spectrumetrix™ publications, and participants in the survey will again receive a complimentary copy of the results. Results of the survey can be found at www.bristolassoc.com and at www.spectrumgaming.com.

"Fifteen years ago, we set out to develop a barometer of executive attitudes in the gaming industry, knowing that human talent is the most valuable asset for any gaming operator. This survey has become an essential tool for employers who want to increase the value of those assets," Spectrum Managing Director Michael Pollock said.

Bristol Associates President Ben Farber said, "We are pleased to see that executives in every jurisdiction, even Atlantic City, are increasingly positive about the future of their careers in the casino gaming industry. The numbers show that we are heading back up towards the glory days of 2005 and 2006."
