MnI Diesel Inc. Using Puradyn Bypass Oil Filtration Technology in the Commercial Marine Industry

HOUSTON, TX and BOYNTON BEACH, FL--(Marketwired - Sep 29, 2015) - MnI Diesel, Inc. (MnI) and Puradyn Filter Technologies Incorporated (OTCQB: PFTI) confirmed today that the Houston, Texas-based diesel engine service provider has achieved sizeable savings in oil-related maintenance costs and a diminished carbon footprint by supplying puraDYN® oil filtration systems to customers in the commercial marine industry.

MnI supplies parts and service support for commercial marine engines and since 2012 has provided puraDYN patented oil filtration systems to its customer base. MnI recently transitioned the product it offers to Puradyn's next-generation line of bypass systems, the Millennium Technology System (MTS). MTS uses patented Polydry® technology for liquid contaminant and water removal from engine oil. MTS systems provide a smaller, more efficient design that delivers even greater value and oil-related maintenance savings.

Harry Lartigue Jr., Power Generation, Marine and Industrial Sales Manager, said, "We focus on providing outstanding service and value added products to our customers. One of the ways we do this is by providing our customers with a technology that allows their equipment to operate as effectively and efficiently as possible. There is a reason we use Puradyn -- it offers the best solution for keeping engines clean, safely extending oil drain intervals and reducing overall life cycle costs, protecting substantial investments in the commercial marine and industrial industries. With over 25 years of experience in bypass filtration, Puradyn was the natural choice to offer our customers.

"Additionally, our customers are serious about their role in environmental stewardship. Environmentally-friendly and cost-efficient are not mutually exclusive goals -- Puradyn provides both. These systems provide an advantage to significantly reduce engine oil purchases and oil-related maintenance costs as well as lessen the impact of waste oil on the environment, particularly our waterways."

Lartigue concluded, "Our client base for Puradyn systems consists of marine inland tugs, harbor tugs, offshore service vessels and ocean-going research vessels. And we service all types of engines -- Caterpillar, John Deere and Detroit Diesel, just to name a few; all of which are installed with Puradyn systems. The return on investment for the system is the cost of one to two oil changes. You can imagine the savings for a client who has 75 - 100 vessels with 4 - 5 engines per vessel and, at minimum, being able to cut their oil purchase and waste oil exposure cost in half. One can do the math and see the savings."

Puradyn President and Chief Operating Officer, Kevin Kroger, said, "MnI Diesel, Inc. serves a customer base that views being 'green' as more than a catchphrase. Their dedication to customer service and providing value-added product, such as puraDYN® Oil Filtration Systems, is a perfect partnership for both Puradyn and their customers. Their customers depend on them to provide the latest technology that can continually help reduce owning and operating costs, and MnI is committed to providing such services.

"We are proud to be associated with MnI and their commitment to providing strategic resources to meet demand for more productive and efficient technologies. We look forward to continuing our mutually beneficial relationship."
