The Array 20 is used to assess BBB permeability in athletes that may be caused by repeated head trauma in sports such as football, basketball, soccer, hockey and boxing.

According to Brainline.org, an estimated 3.8 million concussions occur from sports and recreation related activities each year. Such injuries can lead to a breach in the BBB, which can be discovered with the Array 20 test.
