BETHESDA, MD--(Marketwired - October 07, 2015) - GetWellNetwork®, Inc., the leader in Interactive Patient Care™ (IPC) solutions, announced today that the company has expanded its agreement with VHA Inc. and will now offer its Marbella™ patient rounding and data collection solution to members nationwide. VHA Inc. is a national network of not-for-profit health care systems, hospitals and affiliates.

Marbella is a cloud-based solution for collecting and reporting data on clinical initiatives in real time. Using any mobile device, clinicians can securely record and track data to address patient needs instantly during rounding, ensure compliance with quality, safety and Joint Commission audits, and perform hundreds of other clinical use cases.

"Following a successful two years of use by our VHA Mid-Atlantic members, we are pleased to extend our agreement for Marbella to all VHA members across the country," said Mark Tino, vice president of Performance Improvement for VHA Mid-Atlantic. "Our members report that Marbella is easy to use and helps clinicians improve the overall patient experience during routine rounding."

"By eliminating the manual paper-and-pen method of collecting, reporting and trending data, we have been able to better utilize our nursing team and support staff's time with Marbella," said Carli Meister, director of Customer Relations and Risk for Chester County Hospital/Penn Medicine, a VHA-member facility.

"We are excited to be expanding our relationship with VHA and making Marbella available to its members," said David Bennett, GetWellNetwork's chief operating officer. "Marbella is supported by our team of nationally regarded nurses and clinicians who provide continuous product enhancements. We believe VHA's member organizations will discover hundreds of innovative use cases to help improve the care experience."
