Atlanta Grill Offers Week-Long Autumn Apple Menu in Conjunction With Community Footprints Program

Downtown Atlanta Steakhouse Gives Back to The Ritz-Carlton Brand-Wide Philanthropy Program

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - Oct 8, 2015) - The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta will offer a week-long, Autumn Apple Menu in Atlanta Grill from Monday, October 12, through Saturday, October 17, to support the downtown hotel's local Community Footprints efforts, the brand's social and environmental responsibility program. From each dinner, 15 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Atlanta Community Food Bank, where it will be used to support local causes such as child well-being, environmental responsibility and hunger and poverty relief. The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta has supported the Atlanta Community Food Bank through volunteering and fundraising for the past 15 years.

"We have been grateful for the hotel's support over the years as part of their Community Footprints efforts and the proceeds from the October dinner will help feed our local families in need," said Kyle Waide, President and CEO of Atlanta Community Food Bank. "From each of the Autumn Apple Dinners sold, we will be able to provide $45 in groceries for someone in need."

Executive chef Ramesh Kaduru, the creative culinary force behind the menu's conception, will begin the three-course, prix-fixe menu with an apple and kale salad with toasted pumpkin seeds, honey crisp apple, candied beets and apple vinaigrette. The entrée course will feature a choice of crispy pork belly with apple confit, creamed farro and sorghum glaze, or pan-seared crispy duck with sweet potato puree, apple chutney and apple jus. For dessert, chef Kaduru will serve a classic French apple tatin and apple sorbet.

The Community Footprints mission vows that all Ritz-Carlton hotels should be "positive, supportive members of their communities and sensitive to the environment." This assurance is highlighted through the company's culture, commitment to its employees, ethical business practices and support for its respective communities. The connection with the Atlanta Community Food Bank and Atlanta Grill is the perfect match.

The Atlanta Grill Autumn Apple Menu is $60 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity, and available for dinner only and 15 percent of proceeds will be donated to Community Footprints. Please call404.659.0400 to make a reservation.
