Next Step Marketing Solutions Expands to State College, PA in 2015

STATE COLLEGE, PA--(Marketwired - Oct 12, 2015) - Next Step Marketing Solutions has recently announced the company's move from Williamsport to State College, PA where the marketing firm is partnering with two local fortune 500 retailers to help clients expand their customer base through in-store marketing campaigns. When asked about this strategic relocation, Senior Market Manager, Patrick Sanders remarked, "The move will give Next Step Marketing room to grow into multiple retail locations as well as the opportunity to expand and branch out to other areas." The company's goal to move into two additional retail locations by the end of 2015 will depend on Next Step Marketing Solution's employee development system.

As a company that only promotes from within, Next Step Marketing Solutions offers in-house management and career training to employees who are looking to build long-term careers with the company starting at the ground up. Market Managers, like Sanders, provide one-on-one mentorship and run continuing education seminars on subjects such as business development, sales and marketing strategy, team building, and communication skills. When asked about the management training program that he runs at the company, Sanders explained, "It gives us a chance to bring people into the business from any level and teach them to expand from the ground up by learning the ins-and-outs of the business." Sanders himself started as the company entry level and has since worked his way up to the top.

When asked about his early experiences at the company, Sanders affirmed that he was attracted to the growth opportunities that Next Step Marketing Solutions provides. As a manager, Sanders has become an integral part of the company's success. When questioned about his approach to leadership and development, Sanders answered that his success has come from "Leading from the front, being positive, and not asking anyone to do anything that I haven't done or wouldn't do." As a firm based on meritocracy, Sanders believes that the best leaders are the ones who show rather than tell. When asked about his personal goals as a manager, he replied, "The goal is to expand and give others the opportunities that I was given."

In order to properly equip new managers, Next Step Marketing Solutions provides national networking opportunities for employees undergoing management training. Sanders will be taking several employees with him to a large leadership summit on October 14, 2015 in Philadelphia. The trip will give trainees the opportunity to network with and learn from marketing and leadership professionals from across the nation. When asked about his experiences at similar conferences, Sanders illuminated, "You can go in and get advice and learn from the top people in the industry." Next Step Marketing Solutions invests in its employees to maintain the cutting edge in their marketing and leadership techniques.

The atmosphere in the office at State College is fun, energetic, and competitive. Sanders is currently planning a team night for Next Step Marketing employees to go bowling outside of work. Sanders stated, "Team nights like bowling help us to build a team atmosphere. It's always good to know that our employees respect and care about each other as people rather than just what everyone does at the office."

The move from Williamsport to State College, PA will allow the company to open an additional two Market Manager positions and allow the company to expand their client base in the future.
