The Lotto 6/49 top prize has been building since Wednesday, September 9. No one has matched 6/6 numbers for 11 consecutive draws.
The jackpot breaks the previous Lotto 6/49 record of $63.4 million on April 13, 2013. From that draw, there were four winning tickets sharing the top prize. Three out of the four winning tickets were from B.C., each winning $15,853,471.30.
Lotto 6/49 can be played at all Lotto retailers and Lotto Express locations or online at PlayNow.com, with tickets available until 7:30 p.m. (PT) on draw days (Wednesday and Saturday). Winning numbers and group release forms can be found online at bclc.com.
