BOCA RATON, FL--(Marketwired - Oct 30, 2015) - PF Hospitality Group, Inc. (
PF Hospitality Group has teamed-up with restaurant powerhouses Rodney Mayo and Scott Frielich of Sub-Culture Restaurant Group to create a truly distinct experience with the Shaker & Pie concept: an interactive, urban bistro combining wood-fired pizzas with healthy, hearty Italian-influenced marketplace fare. The flagship location for Shaker & Pie is slated to open in Q2 2016 in Boca Raton, Florida's popular lifestyle center, Mizner Park.
"We expect Shaker & Pie will provide a lasting impression on the South Florida restaurant arena for many reasons," says Vaughan Dugan, CEO of PF Hospitality Group. "Shaker & Pie will feature unique design elements carefully planned by Saladino Design Studios, the authority on out-of-the-box restaurant creations, presented in an uncluttered, uncomplicated manner. Having an upscale address in affluent Boca Raton's Mizner Park has been a primary consideration of ours from the beginning, and we feel that combining these aspects will offer guests a refreshing dining experience."
The space will offer diners a departure from the ordinary restaurant furnishings: from high-gloss, black paint paired with custom millwork and chandeliers, to throwbacks with copper finishes and high-polished brass. Saladino will create an interior space in which guests may enjoy a leisurely lunch or dinner amidst the restaurant's large, open, and bustling space. Others may choose to grab a quick bite or craft cocktail while sitting at the oversized, custom center bar, and outdoor diners will enjoy the lush, professionally landscaped green patio seating within an upscale, urban setting.
"Our design goal with Shaker & Pie is to make the restaurant as multi-faceted as possible," states Sean Saladino, Principle of Saladino Design Studios. "We will blend fashion-forward visuals and cutting-edge design finishes to create energy and movement throughout the entire space so that each guest comes away with their own, distinctive dining adventure."
The Miami-based Saladino Design Studios has a proven track-record of creating unique spaces and developing design concepts to completely "wow" guests. Some of Saladino's recent South Florida projects include SuViche Restaurants, Wynwood's Beaker & Gray, Funky Buddha Brewery's Craft Food Counter & Kitchen, and Delray Beach nightclub, Honey, to name a few.
Shaker & Pie will be the darling of 2016 for PF Hospitality Group and will bolster the company's intent to remain responsive to the changing demographics driven by a large portion of its customer base: millennials.
