Escape from Saskatchewan Penitentiary-Minimum security unit


PRINCE ALBERT, SASKATCHEWAN--(Marketwired - Nov. 2, 2015) - Correctional Service Canada

On November 1, 2015 during the 9:30 p.m. count in the minimum security unit at Saskatchewan Penitentiary, staff members discovered that Jesse Grant McMullen was not accounted for.

The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) immediately contacted the Prince Albert Police Service and the Prince Albert detachment of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and a warrant for his arrest has been issued.

Jesse Grant McMullen is 20 years old, measures 175 cm (5'9") in height and weighs 71 kg (157 lbs). He has a fair complexion, blue eyes and blonde hair. He is currently serving a sentence of 3 years for Robbery, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Disguise with Intent and Failiure to Stop At The Scene of an Accident.

Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Jesse Grant McMullen is asked to contact police.

CSC will investigate the circumstances of this incident and is working with the police to locate the offender as quickly as possible.

CSC has given the police all of the information available to help arrest the inmate.
