DALLAS, TX--(Marketwired - Nov 3, 2015) - New research from Parks Associates shows U.S. broadband households with a head of household ages 25-34 have the highest adoption rate for smart home devices at nearly 30%. Among heads of household ages 35-44, adoption is only 21%, but they own the highest number of smart home product categories, with an average of two different smart products. Networked security cameras, smart thermostats, and smart door locks are the leading categories of smart home devices.

Households with an annual income of $100,000 or more are most likely to have a smart home device, and more than 30% of U.S. broadband households with more than 3,000 square feet own a smart home device.
