Vector Marketing District Manager Mike Abramowitz Serves More than 6,500 Meals Through his Charity, "PB & J for Tampa Bay"

Vector Marketing district manager Mike Abramowitz founded the organization PB & J for Tampa Bay to feed impoverished community members using donations from Vector representatives and Cutco Cutlery customers. His next "Feeding Frenzy" community event will be in Largo, Florida, on November 22.

TAMPA BAY, Fla., Nov. 3, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - To serve his community, Vector Marketing district executive Mike Abramowitz has given his time, energy, talents … and whole lot of peanut butter and jelly. The popular author and youth speaker founded the nonprofit organization PB&J for Tampa Bay in February 2015 with a philanthropic goal of providing food to impoverished community members.

Already, the nonprofit organization has served more than 6,500 meals, distributed at monthly "Feeding Frenzies." At these events, Abramowitz and other Vector Marketing team members provide sandwiches using ingredients donated by Vector representatives and Cutco Cutlery customers. The efforts have even expanded to Saint Leo University in Florida, where the Tri Sigma sorority recently served 1,100 sandwiches through its own fundraising.

The next Feeding Frenzy will be Sunday, November 22 at 9 a.m., at the local Vector Marketing headquarters, 11380 66th St., No. 134, in Largo, Florida. All credentialed media members are invited to attend.

"Those less fortunate who find themselves upon hard times should never be overlooked or given up on," said Abramowitz. "Life is unpredictable and at any moment the tragedy of an unforeseen circumstance or disaster could leave even the most stable person in a similar situation."

Abramowitz is the author of the best-selling E-book "G.R.A.B. Tomorrow -- Your Best Year Ever," which he released in hard copy October 2015. He is also the founder of the G.R.A.B. Tomorrow community, created to help young professionals develop life skills, succeed professionally, and take control of life outside the classroom. Abramowitz has a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from the University of South Florida. He is in the top 500 Vector Marketing sales representatives of all time, and has more than $5.5 million in sales as a manager.

"Growing up in New Jersey as the youngest of eight, I was 70 pounds overweight, with pimples, freckles and braces. I lacked confidence, and never thought I would encounter an opportunity such as Vector Marketing to groom and develop me into a professional who influences thousands of students annually," said Abramowitz. "Vector unlocked my desire to grow into a person who I never knew existed, with a potential that would have never been unlocked. I don't know where I would be without this business."
