ANDOVER, MA--(Marketwired - November 04, 2015) - Morpho (Safran), through its subsidiary Morpho Detection, today announced an order for Itemiser® DX explosives trace detectors (ETD) valued at over $5 million.

Purchased by a U.S. government agency, Itemiser DX will be used to screen people and materials for explosives at installations around the world. Under terms of the contract, Morpho Detection will provide rapid response and preventative maintenance services to ensure peak performance and maximum uptime. A lightweight, portable desktop system, Itemiser DX can detect traces of explosives on skin, clothing, carried items, bags, vehicles and other surfaces.
