Le Vision Pictures CEO and Prolific Producer Zhang Zhao Honored at U.S.-China Film Summit With Leadership Award

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Nov 6, 2015) - Vice chairman of Letv and CEO of Le Vision Pictures Zhang Zhao was recognized last night at The Asia Society Southern California's 6th annual flagship U.S.-China Film Summit and gala dinner. The summit is the premier U.S. event where filmmakers, entrepreneurs and industry leaders unite to discuss U.S.-China co-production and collaboration opportunities, as well as creative and economic themes on an international scale.

Zhang Zhao was honored for his film industry leadership and contributions in bringing together Hollywood and Chinese film elites. He began his speech by marveling at how the Chinese filmmaking industry has grown by leaps and bounds over the years.

"This award is dedicated to anyone who has worked in the Chinese film industry or in Hollywood for the last 20 years. Leadership means that you have great partners and a great team who you work with."

He also believes that Hollywood and China have a shared responsibility to create a more connected moviegoing experience. "The two greatest industries in the world are joining forces to bring great movies to people who live in developing countries, because they deserve better movies and better experiences."

Most recently, Zhang Zhao served as a keynote at Variety Magazine's Big Data Summit, where he covered key issues facing the global entertainment industry, including location-based data marketing and creating a more comprehensive ecosystem to help bridge Hollywood, Silicon Valley and China.
