Media Advisory: Pratt & Whitney Canada Celebrates a Successful Year with Significant Presence at NBAA 2015

LONGUEUIL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwired - Nov. 10, 2015) - Following a year of significant business aviation milestones, Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) is set to shine at the 2015 National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) annual convention and tradeshow with new product and service announcements, along with a series of operator and media events. The NBAA convention will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada from November 17 to 19, 2015. P&WC is a United Technologies Corporation company (NYSE:UTX).

P&WC leadership team members as well as engine and service experts will be on site to meet with NBAA attendees. The next-generation PurePower® PW800 engine, a PT6A as well as engines from our PW300, PW500, and PW600 families will be on display at the P&WC booth (C10807).

Several operator and media events are planned throughout the convention:

November 16 - Media Day: Members of P&WC's leadership team will share the latest news about P&WC's dependable engines and services during a media roundtable.

  • Date: Monday, November 16, 12 p.m. - 12:45 p.m.
  • Location: Las Vegas Convention Centre, Room N217, 2nd floor, over the Grand Concourse (A light lunch will be served)
  • Participants: Nicholas Kanellias, General Manager, General Aviation Programs; Michael Perodeau, Vice President Marketing, responsible for the Corporate Aviation and Military Programs segment; Timothy Swail, Vice President, Customer Programs.

November 18 - Maintenance and Operations Seminars: P&WC will hold two Maintenance and Operations (M&O) seminars to provide operators with the latest insights on support initiatives, maintenance and more.

  • Date: Wednesday, November 18, 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
    • PW300, PW500 and PW600 and JT15D engines (1 p.m. - 3 p.m.)
    • PT6A engine (3 p.m. - 5 p.m.)
