SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 18, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Nuno Gonçalves Pedro has joined Delta Partners as Partner in the firm’s San Francisco operation to bolster its corporate finance and investment team co-leading its digital practice, with a strong focus on the North American market.

Gonçalves Pedro joins Delta Partners after having co-founded Strive Capital, a quantitative early-stage venture capital fund focused on consumer mobile applications, where he led various investments towards IPO (Enish), acquisition (Everpix), or successful raising of equity (AppAnnie, KeepSafe).
In his role with Delta Partners, Gonçalves Pedro will work with the tech players in the San Francisco Bay area, through investment and by supporting them in their corporate finance and internationalization strategies.

Prior to Strive Capital, Gonçalves Pedro was with McKinsey and Co as a Partner in Asia-Pacific and before that was charged with shaping the mobile industry’s agenda as Strategy Director for GSM Association, where he also led the creation of the Group’s first ever equity venture.
He has also been a member of the Jury for the Global Mobile Awards since 2007 and in 2006 he was recognized as one of the “top 26 Portuguese executives abroad”.
He holds post-graduate diplomas from Wharton School at UPenn, London Business School and the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford GSB.
