Nguyen has joined its team. Nguyen will serve as a managing partner and will oversee the daily operations of the San Jose office. Robert Fakhimi, president and CEO of MassMutual Northern California now has the San Jose office under his management, in addition to the Walnut Creek, San Francisco, Fremont and Roseville offices.

Originally from Vietnam, Nguyen has spent his career committed to client service, managing his team and delivering smart solutions. As managing partner, Nguyen will focus on building ties to the growing Asian community in Silicon Valley. "We aim to bring services targeting the local Vietnamese, Philippine, Indian, Korean and Chinese populations in the Valley, in addition to the clients we already have in our San Jose office," said Nguyen. "I will also be hiring a number of new financial advisors for the office which is very exciting for us."

Nguyen came to the United States at age 24, moving to Southern California and attending UCLA where he studied computer science.
