Singapore Hotel in Marina Bay Introduces an Intimate and Sophisticated Cantonese Fine Dining Experience


SINGAPORE--(Marketwired - Dec 8, 2015) - The new Summer Pavilion at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore is officially open for business. The Summer Pavilion is a Cantonese fine dining restaurant that embodies the spirit and celebration of the summer season. Located on level three of the downtown Singapore hotel, and surrounded by a modern Chinese garden and glass pavilion, Summer Pavilion offers an intimate and sophisticated Cantonese fine dining restaurant experience.

The design of this Chinese restaurant in Marina Bay is an opulent celebration of summer, filled with objets d'art and selective furnishings that emulate memories of the finest celebrations set amongst a purity of design. In this fine dining restaurant setting, one will be able to feel the warmth of the timber and admire the sparkling of the white lacquer.

Summer Pavilion features a new entrance access, reminiscent of a modern Chinese garden. The garden entrance sets the stage for a summertime experience, while paying tribute to the modern renowned architectural style of The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore, which was designed by Kevin Roche.

tonychi design studio is responsible for the new vision of Summer Pavilion. Tuxedo-inspired uniforms designed by Mineo San of Art Marginal formalise the dining experience and reflect the service philosophy of this Chinese fine dining restaurant in Singapore, while Robert Louey Design fashions the experience of "dining in a garden", through the use of floral motifs in the restaurant's collaterals. An acoustical arrangement of soothing Chinese flute and piano tunes from Morton Wilson of Schtung Music enhances the overall dining experience in one of Singapore's best Cantonese restaurants.

Executive Chinese Chef Cheung Siu Kong promises to excite palates with his repertoire of exquisite, contemporary Cantonese cuisine. New highlights on the menu of this fine dining restaurant in Singapore include the double-boiled sea whelk soup with fish maw and chicken served in a whole coconut; braised four-head South African abalone; poached rice with lobster; and braised estuary grouper with dried beancurd skin.

Summer Pavilion offers lunch and dinner daily, including dim sum, à la carte and set menus. This Cantonese fine dining restaurant can seat a maximum of 200 persons.

At the main dining hall, private booth seats are available for intimate gatherings and business discussions. This private dining restaurant in Singapore also encompasses six private dining rooms with names inspired by Chinese plants and trees -- Pine, Elm, Wisteria, Plum and Bamboo. Each private dining room features a barmoire equipped with wines, liquors and spirits. The Garden Suite, which can seat a private party of up to 30 persons, is perfect for hosting extended family reunions or company events. This Chinese restaurant private dining room boasts a separate entrance, a "living room" which can function as a pre-event area, with three built-in LCD projectors and screens available to cater for various functions.

The new Tea Salon within this best Cantonese fine dining restaurant in Singapore allows diners to choose from a selection of specialty teas including unique tea blends such as lychee oolong and momo-in-black (black tea with Chinese white peach) from Tea Bone Zen Mind to pair with their meal.
