LADERA RANCH, CA--(Marketwired - Dec 9, 2015) - Little Rookies Youth Sports is pleased to announce that it has a new home at the spectacular Ladera Sports Center. Starting in the summer of 2016, Little Rookies Youth Sports will offer an amazing program providing development in baseball, softball, soccer and basketball for boys and girls ages 3-6 at the $35 million state-of-the-art facility that is currently under construction in Ladera Ranch, Calif.

"Each sport will have its own training area, including an indoor soccer arena, for the best training available in the region," said Kurtis Swanberg, owner of Little Rookies Youth Sports. "The baseball and softball area has a beautiful batting cage and skills area, while the basketball court has state-of-the-art equipment for every young athlete to develop the necessary skills to become a well-rounded player. Our kids will really improve their sports skills."

The solar-powered Ladera Sports Center will feature a 63,400-square-foot gymnasium with 48,750 square feet of court spaces that have noise decibel reduction systems, superior wood flooring, and ceiling-mounted basketball hoops with ample spectator seats per court. It is being built on approximately four acres along Terrace Road near the intersection of Crown Valley Parkway and Antonio Parkway in Ladera Ranch.

Little Rookies is the fourth youth organization to commit its future activities to the Ladera Sports Center -- a full eight months before the facility is scheduled to open its doors. The others are Team Nikos Basketball Academy, Ladera Ranch National Junior Basketball (LRNJB) and the San Clemente Volleyball Club. So far, over 90 percent of the weekday hours at the center are booked for the second half of 2016.

"The inclusion of The Little Rookies in our line-up is important because it broadens the age group training at our facility to include the youngest of athletes," said Ladera Sports Center CEO Steve Williams. "Since most of these children are not in school yet, it also fills what is often a difficult time slot to rent during the academic year."

The Little Rookies Youth Sports' professional coaches will instruct players for one hour each week for eight weeks with fundamental training and live games through a year-round program on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. or 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
