Vaughan Mills Encourages Building Holiday Memories With Santa's Tiny Big Town

Guests Gather to Meet the Big Guy and Receive a Magical #KeyToTheHolidays

VAUGHAN, ON--(Marketwired - December 11, 2015) - Until December 24th, Vaughan Mills is inviting guests to a magical experience, Santa's Tiny Big Town. The program offers a one-on-one experience with Santa where families will create a magical memory for the holiday season and leave with more than just a photo. While families spend time with Santa, his elves are busy crafting magical keys for each child to take on their way out. The keys only work one night a year (Christmas Eve) to allow Santa to enter homes that may not have a chimney, making it easier for the big man in red to visit your home.

Visuals for filming/photography include:

  • Santa's Tiny Big Town
    • The Santa experience welcomes visitors to Santa's Tiny Big Town with interactive games and a fun selfie station before meeting the big guy.
    • One hundred per cent of proceeds from photo packages sold will be donated to SickKids in support of the Possibilities Fund at SickKids. In just over two weeks of the program, Vaughan Mills has raised $50,000 towards its goal of $100,000.
  • Shoppers
    • Chat with shoppers about their experience at Santa's Tiny Big Town and how they are preparing for the holiday season.
  • Interviews
    • Speak with Santa Claus on various holiday topics, including:
      • Top wish list requests: it's about being present, not just the gift.
      • Behind the scenes on Christmas Eve: how Santa gets ready for the big night and how he prepares for his days at the shopping centre.
    • Chat with Maria Bevacqua, Marketing Director at Vaughan Mills, regarding Santa's Tiny Big Town, the Key to the Holidays video and partnership with SickKids Hospital.
    • Four families in the community were featured in a touching video, speaking about what matters most to children this Christmas -- love and family time.
      • Each family will receive their Christmas wish list (up to $1,500 value) from Vaughan Mills for their children
      • Interview and visual opportunity with each family as requested
