Business Intelligence Leader Proxy Signs Reseller Agreement to Include Argyle Data's Revenue Threat Analytics Application in Its Solutions Portfolio

SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwired - Dec 14, 2015) -  Proxy has signed a reseller agreement to offer Argyle Data's revenue threat analytics application as part of its business intelligence solution suite for global telecommunications networks. The agreement marks a further step in Argyle Data's international channel expansion strategy, and also reflects the increasing emphasis by global operators on stemming revenue losses from fraud, profit and SLA threats.

Proxy's solution suite provides insights that help organizations shape their strategies to optimize network and application performance. Their business intelligence technologies are used by service providers working with the world's largest, multi-vendor networks in the government, enterprise and telecoms sectors. Argyle Data's native Hadoop application for threat analytics will be integrated as a key element of Proxy's offerings.

"Our customers look to us to provide cutting edge solutions that solve some of their most challenging problems," said Rosario Libraro, CEO of Proxy. "Argyle Data's position as a proven innovator in machine learning applications for telecoms big data environments makes them an excellent fit within our solution set."

"Global telecoms operators and their systems integrators have an increasing need for actionable, real-time insights into the state of their networks," said Vikash Varma, President and CEO at Argyle Data. "The powerful business intelligence and anomaly detection capabilities jointly provided by Proxy and Argyle Data address this need. We are very pleased to work with Proxy to provide an integrated solution that can easily be incorporated as part of any advanced network."

Key factors driving the adoption of machine learning applications built natively on Hadoop include the growing requirement for fraud analytics and data lake applications by the mobile communications industry. This sector loses over 1.69% of annual revenue, or about $38 billion, to fraud. International revenue share fraud alone has grown from $1.8B in 2013 to $10.7B in 2015 (source: Communications Fraud Control Association.)
