(TSX:GXI), the leading global provider of ancillary-focused merchandising, payment and business intelligence technology to airlines and the passenger travel industry, today announced that Ricardo Navarro, former head of the OpenJaw business unit's Iberica operations, has been appointed Managing Director, OpenJaw Business Unit. Mr. Navarro will be responsible for managing OpenJaw's global operations and will be an important voice on the senior leadership team for GuestLogix, providing a valuable perspective and expertise to the business as a whole.

Mr. Navarro was brought onboard to launch the OpenJaw Technologies business in Spain and Latin America in September 2005. He has since been the driving force behind the phenomenal growth of the region into the multi-million Euro business unit it is now, playing an integral role in building the Spanish-speaking business from the ground up and managing a successful team in Madrid.

Mr. Navarro has over 15 years' experience in the industry having worked in both the travel and supply chain sectors delivering enterprise scale projects to companies such as Iberia Airlines, Telefonica, BBVA Bank and Repsol. Before setting up OpenJaw's first regional office, Ricardo worked in a variety of software development and project management roles for travel technology company Datalex and for Adquira Spain.

Ricardo graduated from ICAI Comillas University with a Masters degree in Electronics and holds an MBA from Escuela de Organización Industrial, both in Madrid.
